Nonprofit that has historically provided comprehensive support to immigrant communities, and now offers programming and resources for children & youth, mental health & community wellness, adult education & training, legal services, and more. Erie House works closely with our new arrivals from Texas, providing them with housing support and needed items.

Palenque Logan Square Neighborhood Association
Community-based organization serving Logan Square, Hermosa, and Avondale. LSNA offers a Parent Mentor Program, Parent Engagement Institute, Grow Your Own Illinois Teacher Cohort, Quality of Life Planning Initiative and more.
Nonprofit offering free produce to families on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 8AM - 12PM, youth safety violence prevention programs, and programmed activities for all, from the age of early learning to senior citizens.

Nonprofit dedicated to maintaining the health, vitality, and longevity of the natural open spaces in northeastern Illinois, including preserving the urban tree canopy of Chicago.
Nonprofit organization that empowers residents to address climate change through waste reduction on a personal, producer, and policy level, most notably by hosting reuse and recyling pop-up events throughout the City. Reduce Waste Chicago is a program of the North Center Neighbors Association.

Nonprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive counseling, education and housing resources to Latinos and other low-to-moderate income families in the Chicago land area. They provide foreclosure prevention, home buyer education, financial education, energy assistance and landlord and renter assistance.

Nonprofit that enhances employment opportunities for at-risk, low-income men, women, and young adults. Offers professional clothing for teens, women and men Tuesdays 12pm-6pm and Wednesdays through Saturdays 12pm-5pm.
CCL partners with participants to uncover possibilities, overcome barriers, and realize their potential. Their work includes coaching on financial, employment and resource mobilization goals that enhance lives, training and skill enhancement opportunities, and advocacy and organizing on economic policy and practices that open up opportunities and resources.

Create Real Economic Destiny (CRED)
An anti-gun violence organization providing street outreach, life coaching, counseling, and workforce development with the aim of breaking the cycle of gun violence in Chicago.

Nonprofit working directly with justice-involved individuals to help them overcome barriers to reentry to society, including employment assistance, education, and advocacy.
A statewide, state-funded initiative made up of 18 non-profit organizations throughout Illinois who provide free legal representation or legal information to people who want their cannabis convictions off their record.
