This project is being funded through the 1st Ward’s aldermanic menu funding!

Street resurfacing
ADA ramp replacements
Sidewalk and curb & gutter replacements
Extension of the Wood St. Greenway*
* Following installation of the Wood St. Greenway, N Wood St will be a one-way going south.
Updates
June 5
New from CDOT: Following the resurfacing of Wood St, CDOT will install Complete Streets improvements and upgrades to the existing Wood St Neighborhood Greenway, which will enhance safety and comfort for people walking and biking. This includes:
Conversion of Wood St to a one-way southbound from Augusta to Cortez and from Division to Crystal
Installation of contraflow bike lanes to maintain two-way bike access
Reinstallation of greenway pavement markings after resurfacing is complete
June 3
The Department of Transportation has informed the 1st Ward Office that Wood St. resurfacing project will take place after all concrete work is completed. This work includes ADA ramps and curb and gutter replacements. Concrete work is tentatively scheduled to be completed by mid/late July.
